Our Client a Global Financial Services Firm, is seeking a Loan Reference Specialist in their Dallas, TX location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance checks on pre / post trade settlements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze all aspects of new deal closings, credit agreements, amendments, and restructures for accuracy and completeness.
• Process data, manage exceptions, create new assets, and liaise with clients as necessary.
• Prepare written reports and emails to management containing audit findings and trend analysis.
• Create new loans and assets in relevant platforms, including bonds, CDS, ABS, and equities, and set up current contracts and amortization schedules.
• Review existing policies and procedures, recommend changes to improve data quality and auditing processes.
• Maintain and update documentation library, ensuring all documents are current and accessible.
• Manage loan identifiers and ensure accuracy in data records.
• Generate ad hoc reports, perform analysis, and investigate issues, providing clear explanations and interpretations.
• Ensure business protection through comprehensive documentation, adherence to policies and procedures, and rigorous data validations.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary information and maintain accuracy of referential data.

Requirements :

• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to query and analyze large volumes of financial data effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of MS Office suite.

Education :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or Business preferred, but not required.
